Zombie Art

I just love vampires next to witches because they give you this creepy-cray-cray feeling and at the same time makes you fall in-love with them. They are glamorous creatures judging by their looks which can deceive unknowing victims until they suck you dry. Haha! I know this should be posted on Hallowe'en and I'm too excited for it that's why I'm already doing this.

I have never done zombie makeup before because I just didn't think of the need to. It's just that applying makeup can be a mess - and that's what a zombie should look like, right? And it's fun too! I got excited when I was still planning this before and here it is right now, some of the images that I took after experimenting how I would look if I were a zombie.

I guess these colored photos are good, eh?

I guess I do look more like a hag than a zombie! Haha! But I tried and it's a process practicing to achieve something out of an experiment. I'm not dismayed or dissatisfied with the outcome - I'm happy and pleased with it. There's nothing wrong if you didn't achieve what you're planning and trying to do, you just have to do it again until you perfect it. It's an arduous job but you won't get it if you won't try again. It's just that simple. :)

It's tradition, I guess, for some brides to marry on the month of June. I've done a research because I felt the need to do it to avoid making myself look stupid. Haha! 

'The history of weddings celebrated during the month of June goes all the way back to early Roman times, well over two thousand years ago! The Romans celebrated a festival in honor of the deity Juno, wife of Jupiter and goddess of marriage and childbirth, on June first. June also followed May, the month of the “unhappy dead” for the Romans, so not an auspicious month to marry!...'

• June is still the most popular month to marry, followed by August, July, May, and September. The goddess Juno was the protector of women in all aspects of life, but especially in marriage and childbearing, so a wedding in Juno's month was considered most auspicious.
• The idea of June weddings also comes from the Celtic calendar. On the Cross-Quarter Day of Beltane, or May Day (May 1), young couples would pair off to court for 3 months and then be wed on the next Cross-Quarter Day (Lammas Day, August 1). Youths being impatient, the waiting period was shortened to mid-June, and the popularity of June weddings was ensured.

Custom be damned it's not likely that all lucky and precious-heaven-dreaming ladies wants to be June brides and they have a couple of reason why so.

Duh. We're in a different time now and what's important is what we want and how we feel. Marriage shouldn't be compromised on a June-event because every girl who's dreaming to be picture-perfect-princesses can also be married in July. No offense and per se to custom lovers.

Anyway let's get to the point now of my post!

I made this post to show everyone about our event at Cebu Parklane International Hotel which was celebrated last July 12, 2013 to commemorate and celebrate its 7th year anniversary in the Cebu-hotel industry which was entitled Weddings at the Parklane 2013: A Bridal Fair in Shades of Gold. 

Everyone were in black and gold and celebrated in unison the 7 years of the company's achievements and successful goals making everyone so proud.

It is indeed a 7 Years In The Making and 7 Years In The Winning Streak.

Red X Beautiful Creatures

I just had my red BNY skinnies made into summerXCoachella-inspired shorts. Paired it with my DIY tank top and went outside and showed it to the crowd. LOL! Just got inspired because the summer season here in Cebu is actually scorching. It makes you feel like you're really in a walk-in oven! Even when you're under a shade you'd still feel the heat prickling and how do I say this - burning your skin. I sweat like hell and really makes me thirsty that's why I can gulp at least a litre of cold water.

La nature à son meilleur

It was a happy moment because mom got better already and we didn't feel so somber anymore. I know you'll want to know what I meant with "...mom got better already..." but I'd rather not put it here. I'll try to post it later but I'll still have to ask my mom's la permission. It's very personal for us because she got malade and it was a very emotional moment.
Anyway because of the good recovery of mom's health I went outside the sanctuaire naturel and enjoyed clicking and taking snapshots of the greeneries (including the weeds, a dead beetle, and a fly) and marveled at its beauty. I just love taking snapshots of Nature herself rather than on people. Its beauty is very natural and doesn't need "extra enhancements" just for the images to look crisp and beautiful. It hypnotizes you once you look at it. Brings you to a different world where no one can disturb you - a safe haven, a sanctuary.

Found this beetle dead on the bedsheet tucked and folded inside the closet. I felt sad for it.

I just love how this plant looks like.

I keep on adding new photos each time I go home. It makes me so happy being with Nature and BTW my element is Earth with a bit of Water. My "magickal" friend told me that because I can grow any plant because I love planting and touching the soil and feeling its pulsating energy as if trying to talk to me.

Snickers Is Like Morphine

I can still remember when I sneaked into our kitchen, peered inside the refrigerator and when I saw the box full of Snickers I went totally cray-crazy and put my head inside and feasted like I don't care if they can't have some. I didn't realize my mom approaching and scolded me! I was a bit mortified because she saw me with my head inside the refrigerator! If only you'd seen my face! Hah! 

I would laugh trying to think about what happened to me at that moment and it only means one thing: I really am a chocolate addict! I can't live without them and it's like my soul! Gosh. I even use it to calm my nerves (especially when I'm upset or angry). Comfort food like no other (besides a monster sandwich and burger and ice cream!). Yikes!

Honestly there's nothing wrong with me. I just love its sweetness and a bit of its bitterness molded into a chewy and gooey bar that melts in my mouth. Now that's what I'm talking about!

Awkward Can Be Sexy

I don't normally pose awkwardly cute because I'm a bit camera shy and gets conscious on onlookers eyeing me suspiciously (as if this never happen every shoot). People tend to go crazy-thinking when I pose in front of my point and shoot wearing cool clothes but it makes me even good at styling and sporting my own looks. I just smile at them and some would even smile back while others would just give me the stern "teacher-in-Math-like" look.
Moving on to my outfit... I haven't worn my Bench plaid for so long now and it was kept and almost forgot that I have it. Yeah, it sucks when you are forgetful and very stressful having to think of all the things and trying to remember them. I should have my own Remembrall (still addicted to Harry Potter!). 
I have been lazy for the past days that's why I posted this very late! But I try to tell my self that I should post A-SAP but my laziness overpowers me sometimes.

My eyes got so tired and red after wearing my super black "anime" contacts because I'm not used to it and I always have been an "eyeglass" person. Haha! But I'm trying to get used to wearing contacts now. It's way more cooler than the typical glasses that slips from your nose.
