Photo Diary

I am not a professional photographer nor do I own a DSLR but I love taking pictures and maybe you can call it a hobby ever since I first laid eyes on the beauty of nature and it's because we live near it, we are far from the urban hustle and bustle and nestled in the more greener areas. And for me it's better to make nature as a model for your photographs (it's ironic because I also love fashion blogging) than walking mannequins because they are more natural and don't even have to be enhanced to look good on photographs.
Enough of the dramatic sentences. LOL. Here's just a collection of my hidden talents (and some are taken by my brother) for the world to see.
I just picked out these random photographs from my files and played with the sharpness and depth because I'm using a point and shoot only.

I don't know the name of this creepy crawly but it's a common house spider. Guess it died because my sister sprayed insecticide on it because she got scared and freaked out.

Found this hanging from the ceiling and thought to shoot it from its angle.

Told my self to take a shot without flash and came out cool.
Very alien-like.

Another alien-like form of the bulb.

UNAPOLOGETIC - Rihanna's Angst-Emo Slash Pop-Electro Album

Rihanna's music style has grown from simple and catchy ballad-pops to powerful belts of impressive notes and really surprises you because you wouldn't think that Rihanna can be this good with her singing prowess. Discovered by Jay-Z at a young age and now became one of the top earners in the music industry and surprisingly one of the youngest also and it's very hard not to like her style because it's very edgy and pop and at the same time it attracts the young crowd - and she's still 24 years old - and it communicates to them through her songs.
She has gone from different fashion phases - from her bob hair to pixie black and bleached and shaved it then surprised us with a bright, fiery red. She then reverted back to her long tresses but gave it a twist - shaved on the sides. It's much more better than her pompadour-bleached hair. But I think that her fiery, bright red hair made her look so beautiful too and she created a billion of red hair-followers. And it's no wonder gays, ladies, and even men show off their hairs just like hers (have you seen Sandara of K-Pop's 2NE1's hair?).
Rihanna can be avant-garde and fabulous at the same time and she has good taste in clothing that's why you wouldn't see her tacky on red carpet events and on paparazzi photos. Rihanna is truly a fashion icon that can't be found on cardoard boxes and she is an iconic walking mannequin of every designers' dream!

Here's the track list from her album Unapologetic.

Enhanced Not Edited

I prefer the word enhanced, not edited, because enhancing is keeping the original and

never removing its beauty and concept. It's rather improving the quality but keeping it

natural. I am trying to experiment on different techniques and effects to know what the

best is.

I browsed through my albums and decided to enhance some of my pictures just to show

you how good it is. I'll add more images later but for now take a look at these and just

scroll down and enjoy!

I am not using a DLSR but a point and shoot only and I guess I still made a right choice

because it's not the type of camera that's important but of how you take the shots. So

I guess everything came out super okay than expected! Should have congratulated my

self for a fantastic and not so disappointing job!

SIOMAI AFTER A GLOOMY WORK DAY

I was so busy running errands for room attendants because I got bored in my work area and got shitty all over from hearing the sad news of our recent Supervisor who resigned because of some very "personal reasons" - and when I mean very personal it's top secret and we are the one who only know the real story behind it. And I also gave her my piece of advise to follow what her heart demands and it's better than to listen to "them" or else she'll regret it. But I was still grateful because she heed my words of advice. And I guess it really encouraged her.
Anyway the story behind the SIOMAI trip was Rubie, one of my workmates, invited me to go with her together with Kuya Hoowann (Ki-Hoowann) have siomai for snacks (I guess it's not snacks) after our busy work. I don't have any plans that afternoon so I agreed without much hesitation and said to her "'Te, confirmed laps of siomai!" It's gay lingo for "Hey, I'm okay with siomai as snacks!". We really use gay language even on work because we think it's fun and makes us laugh! And it's also fun seeing others who don't understand us and would just say "Huh? What?". Going back to our REAL story... So we went down after our end of shift at the locker and relaxed for a few minutes because our locker area has an aircon and at least our tired, aching muscles gets relaxed a bit while sitting at the benches being laid for us. And it's really put their on purpose for us! I said a few jokes to our locker guard and laughed and leaped with joy while fixing my hair.
To make this post short let's go directly to the jeepney ride where the driver was halted by the traffic enforcer because he stopped to pick-up passengers at the wrong side of the road and got my eyebrow raised and made me think "What a stupid guy he is. I guess it was so clear on the sign posted there...". But thankfully the traffic enforcer didn't held him for so long and so we proceeded to the destination. We arrived but the area was so placid - I mean there were not much people walking around unlike during the previous time I went there when even the corners were packed with people - vendors, bystanders, students, customers... I guess only the city was busy and because it was already 5.00PM in the afternoon when we arrived there and only the city gets so busy during rush hours. And rush hours makes you go crazy and temperamental!
I had 5 pieces of siomai, Rubie too, while Kuya Hoowann with only 3 and we gobbled it up with a refreshing cold 1 litre Pepsi that quenched my thirst for cold, sweet drinks on a not too busy day. We talked a little and said our goodbyes after.
BTW Kuya Hoowann treated us with the delectable-high in cholesterol-yummy siomai. And I thank him for it!

I am following Kuya Howann's blog KIHOOWANN. You can check it out and surely you'll love his looks!

TRUE BLUE ART FOR FASHION

There are plenty of things going on in my mind right now especially my planned works of art for my looks and for using my overflowing creative juices that got stuck swimming in my head.
I know that my list won't end right here, right now because there are so many different and plenty of ideas and inspirations that I can use to utilize for my creativeness. I'm not bragging because I can do art but because I have talent and I love art in fashion.
Here's the list of plans but I'll try to keep on adding other ideas later.:

  • DIY TEE SHIRT TO TANK TOP
I made my very first tank top from an old thrifted tee shirt because it's very worn out and it got a tiny hole at the back because I guess it got torn from I don't know where. I removed the sleeves and collar and it turned pretty cool because it also has a graphic print and I really love the outcome of my work.
I'm now planning to do the same thing on my Giordano mint green tee that has a glittery blue print on it saying "not my cup of tea". It got so worn out because I fell in love with it and the print! Gosh. The other one is my old crimson thrifted tee from a surplus Korean boutique. The nice thing about the tee is the metallic geometric purple print on it that glitters when hit by light. I sew blue beads on it but didn't finish it because it looked too overwhelming on the print.
The only problem I have  is the tracing wheel because when I tried to ask for it and buy all the stocks were sold. They are still re-stocking the items. And it's very frustrating knowing that it's gone when you needed it the most! It's better than using the chalk because it won't leave marks that is very hard to remove, instead it would only leave tiny holes to trace for when cutting.

  • STUDS AND SPIKES FOR SHOES
I kept asking my workmate where I can buy studs, the pyramid shaped ones, because I'm gonna decorate/design a pair of slip-ons that  I'll buy and use for a casual get-up or during parties. She told me that the fabric store that she used to work at is selling them and they are expensive (she warned me) but I told her that I don't care as long as I can spruce up the slip-ons and use it.
I also keep on looking online for anyone that sells them and found one but not locally and it only costs a dollar and has 200 pieces of them and comes in different sizes and in gold and silver. Their are many videos on Youtube that teaches and shows you how to DIY studded shoes without spending too much and it's very easy and practical you can even create other designs compared to the branded ones. Using your imagination and creativity will give you fantastic results.

  • OWN ONLINE TEE BUSINESS
This is still pending because I still don't have the needed budget for the proposed business!
I have seen many designs on tees just like the very common graphic tees that popped up online and being worn by everyone everywhere. It gave me the idea of making my own designs by using other printed fabrics especially the animal printed or leopard prints because I know it'll attract younger clients in no time and will result to bulk orders. Haha! I can create my own tees with different printed fabrics then shaped into geometrical or cut into the very famous "inverted cross" and sew it patch-like on the tee. It would be cheaper than the branded ones and very practical also.
My target would be the younger fashionistas and fashionistos because they are profitable clients/customers.

I am still brainstorming on other plans and I hope I can have many and can do it!

PHOTO EDIT

I edited my profile photo on Facebook because I wasn't at all satisfied. LOL. I know right? Just wanted to enhance more of its quality and appearance and to experiment on different effects. Editing is a big help also if you only got a point and shoot device and still can't afford the much coveted DSLR's and at least you can make awesome photos.
I guess it came out quite great and different from my previous photo.

I also uploaded this on Lookbook because this is one of my looks.
